2022 Ram TRX Whipple Supercharger Upgrade Package
Project Overview
When the owner of this 2022 Ram TRX came to KTR Performance, he wasn’t chasing reliability—he already had that. He wanted more excitement. The factory supercharged V8 had started to feel tame, so we set out to raise the bar.
The solution: a Whipple Gen 6 3.0L supercharger system paired with an S&B cold air intake, adding efficient airflow and a sharper hit of power across the RPM range. Once tuned and dialed in, the TRX picked up around 100 extra horsepower and a fierce, unmistakable whine. To keep that power under control, we finished it off with a front Alcon big brake kit—delivering the stopping confidence this 700+ horsepower truck deserves.

Engine & Braking Upgrades
We swapped out the factory blower for a Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Supercharger upgrade package paired with an S&B cold air intake. The larger supercharger moves more air and features a more efficient intercooler, keeping intake temps low while producing roughly 100 additional horsepower and noticeably sharper throttle response.
To support the extra speed, we upgraded the front brakes with an Alcon big brake kit, providing the kind of stopping power this beast deserves. With its deep Whipple whine and massive torque, this TRX is the ultimate mix of muscle and refinement.
