Project Overview

This 2019 Cadillac Escalade came to KTR for a suspension and braking overhaul to improve road feel and driver confidence without sacrificing comfort. A Belltech lowering kit, sway bars, and upgraded struts were installed to give the SUV a balanced, planted stance. To match its sharper handling, we fitted a Wilwood Big Brake Kit for consistent stopping power and tuned the vehicle after adding a cold air intake and cat-back exhaust. The result is an Escalade that drives as refined as it looks, with 35 additional horsepower over stock.

Suspension & Chassis

The Belltech lowering kit dropped the front 2 inches and the rear 4 inches, creating a level, aggressive stance that enhances both aesthetics and control. Upgraded sway bars and struts tighten chassis response, significantly reducing body roll and improving cornering stability while preserving a smooth ride.

Braking System

Stopping power was upgraded with a Wilwood Front Big Brake Kit, bringing exceptional pedal feel and fade resistance to match the vehicle’s new performance potential. The setup delivers consistent braking performance during both daily driving and spirited highway use.

Engine & Exhaust

To help the 6.2L V8 breathe more efficiently, the stock intake and exhaust were replaced with an S&B Cold Air Intake and Corsa Cat-Back Exhaust System. Combined with a KTR Performance Tune, the engine now produces a refined tone with measurable gains across the RPM range.
