2023 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Intake and Exhaust Package
Project Overview
The KTR Performance shop C8 Corvette serves as the company’s in-house development vehicle and testing platform for the latest LT2 performance upgrades. By evaluating components on its own car before recommending them to customers, KTR can verify fitment, drivability, and real-world performance gains on the C8 platform.
Starting with carefully selected bolt-on components and evolving into a complete heads and cam package, this build demonstrates how the LT2 responds to thoughtfully matched upgrades. The result is a naturally aspirated combination that produces over 500 wheel horsepower while maintaining the refinement and street manners expected from a modern Corvette.

Engine, Induction, & Calibration
The foundation of this package is a set of Katech ported and milled LT2 cylinder heads paired with a Katech LT2 Torquer camshaft. Built from brand-new GM castings, the Katech heads deliver increased airflow, race-proven reliability, and eliminate the need for a core exchange while providing a solid foundation for naturally aspirated performance. Supporting valvetrain upgrades include a BTR 660 spring kit, BTR trunnion upgrade, and hardened pushrods, while an LT1 high-pressure fuel pump ensures the combination remains stable at higher engine speeds.
Airflow improvements continue through a Performance & Design Carbon R High Ram intake manifold, Lingenfelter 95mm throttle body, and Halltech cold air intake. Together, these components significantly improve the LT2’s ability to move air while preserving the drivability and responsiveness expected from a modern Corvette.
Exhaust System
To complement the increased airflow and provide a more aggressive appearance, the factory exhaust system was converted to a center-exit configuration using a C8 Z06 rear valance, Z06 cat-back exhaust, and black exhaust tips. The conversion gives the rear of the car a factory-inspired appearance while producing a deeper, more purposeful exhaust note.
Chassis, Braking & Exterior
Supporting upgrades include a GiroDisc two-piece rotor and performance pad package, providing improved braking performance and reduced unsprung weight. A set of Paragon Performance wheel spacers further enhances the stance of the vehicle, while an ACS Composite 1VM side skirt kit complements the Z06 rear conversion with a more aggressive factory-inspired appearance.
