2012 Chevrolet Caprice PPV Kenne Bell Supercharger Package w/ Manual Transmission Swap

Car

Project Overview

This low-mileage PPV was reworked into a sleeper with a manual swap, cam/heads/headers, and a Kenne Bell supercharger. We added KPM fueling and dyno calibration, plus 4.10 gears, line lock, and CarPlay to keep it usable and factory-clean.

Engine, Induction & Drivetrain

The build began with a heads/cam/headers package and supporting components, then stepped up to a Kenne Bell supercharger for serious airflow. To support fueling under boost, we installed a KPM in-tank pump upgrade kit and completed a full in-house dyno calibration on the Mainline Hub Dyno. The centerpiece is the manual transmission swap—executed with factory-based parts so the car drives and looks like it could have come that way from GM.

Wheels, Tires & Brakes

For better launch control and heat management during testing, we fitted a line-lock kit. The rear axle was updated to 4.10 gears, sharpening response and keeping the engine in the meat of the powerband between shifts—especially helpful with the manual.

Interior & Connectivity

To modernize daily use without losing the sleeper vibe, we added CarPlay to the factory screen, keeping the interior stock-looking while delivering navigation, music, and hands-free control.
